Dre (they) is a postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory working to decarbonize energy technology. They are currently developing a novel heating and cooling system to optimally shift thermal loads in commercial buildings. As a scholar and an educator, Dre aspires to transform the culture of engineering by cultivating inclusive learning environments and making space for new leaders.
